In this new era of evidence-based policymaking it is crucial for educators to understand the policy making process in order to have maximum effect on public policies and programs. This workshop will identify the key leverage points in the policy-making process including ministers, cabinet, bureaucrats, the media and other stakeholders. It will feature practical tasks drawing on experience in international forums like UNESCO, higher education roundtables, and key players at the research-policy interface.
